INFESTUS - E X l I S T

So previous post i was talking about some record by a band named Infestus and i said it was pretty good, well here it Exist.

So this record was done by one dude named Andras and that dude is crazy good on all instrument. This being a one man black metal band youre probably thinking that its some depresive Xasthur-like bullshit (nothing against Xasthur yo) but it is not. This is black metal full of emotion. It sound very symphonic and huge if i might say but not in a Dimmu Borgir way. No overdone orchestration to be found here just insanely good song writing skill. You feel that Andras put all of himself in that record.

When you listen to that album youve got to listen to it all, not just a single song (which are all amazing).

Probably my favorite black metal album of the year and contender for album of the year in general.

Get that shit, son, for real.

ENSORCELOR - CRUCIFUGE

Hey whats up retards, im back and you dont give a shit but thats cool, i can live with that (but not really my heart is broken...forever).

Anyway this is some killer eh, black doom whatever the fuck from Montreal and it is glorious. This thing is emotional i guess, i dont how to say that really but you feel the music, the darkness, the hate all around you while you listen to it. To me its kind of the same feeling as when ive listen to Infestus's E x l i s t (another killer record that came out this year and coming to a crappy blog near you in few days). Well that was a fucking mess of a paragraph, lets move on.

The ending to the second track 'Crucifuge' is one of the most badass thing youll hear in music this year. Do yourself a favor and kill yourself, eh, i mean buy that shit. Support underground metul biotch!

Grave of The Archangel get this shit going with a sweet instrumental and than were off to Incantation ugly death metal some tremolo picked devil worshipping melodies. Atmosphere is dark and all that, look at that cover... see? that how it sounds. Dead Congregation are more original than i make them sound so check it out and than buy it.

What up people, you like SATAN dont you? No? Well move on cause this album reeks of the dark one deepest sewer. Immolation/Incantation kind of thing nothing really technical at all but full old school brutality. Melody is not here so dont ask! Seriously though it does make few appearance most notably on the highlight title track. This album is some good Satan death metal so buy it, also buy the sick shirt.

Amon Amarth new stuff, this is a huge departure from their usual sound and it is kinda surprising to hear them change so much no kidding its downright insulting, they might as well changed their name. HUGE DISSAPOINTEMENT.

Whats up ladies and g-man its been a long time and im sure no one noticed but im back for at least this post so hold on to your balls cause its about to get bumpy. Since i've been away (lazy) for the first 3 month of the year this is gonna be some kind of reminder of everything awesome that came out so far this year. Ulcerate - The Destroyer of All
Continuing their path of Neurosis death metal or whatever Ulcerate release an album that i've yet to wrap my head around due to the cheer level of awesomeness. Shit is twisted but still more controled then on previous record. This album could be the only challenger to Parasignosis but that is if i ever master this beast of a record.

Belphegor - Blood Magick Necromance
Back on their feet after the not so good Walpurgis Rite. Blood Magick Necromance is back to quality black/death that Belphegor is know for, only this time speed is tone down a little more than usual like on personal favorite Discipline Through Punishment. Good stuff.

This is getting kinda long so im gonna split that shit in multiple part. And try write the other part sometime in the next nine month. PEACE.

ORIGIN OF DARKNESS - THE LIVING DARKNESS

So everybody is feeling good? Yeah!. Alright will put an end to that with the latest project of Xathagorra Mlandroth funeral doom genius who also wrote the great "In the depths of R'Iyeh" from is other band Catacombs. The Living Darkness is a 3 track ep of funeral doom brilliance. Slow fucking darkness with just a tiny ray of hope in the form melodic lead/melodies but maybe in the end this is all just trap too lure you deeper in the darkness. Fun fact last i checked 16 person had heard this band on last fm, so lets get that number a little higher.
Also this is legally free for now so for once go crazy.

AENAON & SATANOCHIO - A PARALLEL ZOETROPE (SPLIT)

Here we have 2 song, one from each band, both band play some kind of black metal and i must say i enjoyed the Aenaon track little bit more, being more melodic and that sort of things, but the weird clean vocal in some place are weird (thats right), but still that song is great. Satanochio on the other hand are a more straightforward black metal act, they play full speed and the singer as a really high pitch voice which can be annoying, still an alright track. Ladys and gentlemen its showtime, heres October Falls a finnish black metal band with a bit of folk thrown in there. Absolutely awesome, both of those release are filled with sweet melodies nice acoustic part and great vocals.
Fans of early Ulver, Opeth and crap like that might like it. But to be honest if you dont like that shit theres something wrong with you, dawg!

Yall know Profound Lore Records rock right? Cause here comes their first release of 2011 and it is an absolute monster. If you know about the Profound Lore roster this band sound like Portal blasting Vasaeleth in the butt with thier bare feet. Which meen that its a complete annihilation of your mind via a constant wall of blackened death metal. This is pretty much the perfect soundtrack to the writting of H.P Lovecraft.

DESTROYING DIVINITY - DARK FUTURE

Whats up party people, ok lets start the year with some death metal, Destroying Divinity are on Brutal Bands but are not similar to most other band on that label. This is nor uber brutal nor technical, its mostly mid paced death metal. Destroying Divinity kind of sound like Aeon, Immolation and Incantion gangbanged away under the fullmoon whatever that mean. Anyway the band truly shine when they slow the pace down like on the chrushing closer. If you like death slow and occult and all that crap check this out.
